    Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields; candidates from non-technical backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
    • At least 2 years of experience in Workday, either in Systems Implementation or Production Support, focusing on integrations; experience in areas such as Data Conversion, Talent and Performance, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, or Learning is also valuable.
    • Proven experience collaborating with clients and onshore counterparts.
    • Preferably certified in Workday Core HCM, Core Integrations, and Workday Studio.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision and function well within a team environment.
       

    Responsibilities of Workday Core HCM

    • Apply Workday’s Implementation Methodology to successfully execute project implementations.
    • Analyze Workday release updates to assess their impact on clients' existing configurations.
    • Troubleshoot functional issues and implement complex business rules.
    • Configure business processes within Core HCM.
    • Support and configure Workday HCM for global rollouts.
    • Manage Workday security domains and ensure proper security settings for business processes.
    • Configure staffing models, jobs and positions, grades, and compensation plans.
    • Create and load EIBs for mass updates on processes such as hires, terminations, organizational changes, job requisition creation, and job changes.
       

    Your Role and Responsibilities

    • As a Workday Core HCM, you’ll act as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads, and implements expert services leveraging a wide range of technologies. A successful Workday Core HCM is seen as a trusted advisor, working closely with clients to deliver innovative solutions that address complex business challenges.
    • You will take ownership of designing business processes, developing configurations, and implementing solutions tailored to your clients' needs.
    • You will lead the business process and configuration workstreams, managing their daily operations.
    • You’ll analyze business requirements, plan and deliver workshops, and facilitate client events, proposing solutions that align with the client's business goals.
    • Using your strong business acumen and methodologies, you will interpret data and business processes to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
    • Your focus will be on delivering exceptional value to customers while identifying opportunities for additional business growth.
       

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Professional knowledge relevant to your position, with the ability to quickly acquire technical, functional, and soft skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, along with strong communication abilities to effectively interact with project stakeholders.
    • In-depth understanding of HR processes and strategies within large organizations.
    • A willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to different USA locations, and travel as necessary.
    • Experience in one or more HR functional areas such as HCM, Talent & Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Learning, or Recruiting.
       

    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

    • MBA graduates with an HR specialization and strong academic performance are preferred.
    • Previous experience in HR or Enterprise Applications utilizing HR processes is a valuable asset.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute to team efforts, along with staying current with technical knowledge through educational workshops and industry publications.
       

    Requirements

    • Familiarity with GDPR compliance.
    • Experience in developing custom reports.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels within an organization.
    • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
    • Certification as a Workday HCM Principal is preferred.
