- Collaborate with business teams and other technical groups to define project scope and gather high-level requirements.
- Lead the architecture of solutions from concept to release, ensuring smooth post-launch support.
- Ensure that solutions meet business requirements and maintain the highest quality standards.
- Guide development teams in defining and executing project implementation plans.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for any technical challenges or issues during project execution.
- Identify, assess, and manage implementation risks to ensure smooth delivery.
- Work closely with other developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, offering strategic technical leadership.
- Oversee testing efforts by analyzing failed test cases, implementing necessary code fixes, and supporting changes identified during user acceptance testing.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, including proficiency in SQL query design and development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Sitecore certification is advantageous.
- Extensive experience and deep understanding of Sitecore development.
- Hands-on experience with Sitecore tools such as Sitecore Rocks, TDS, Unicorn, GlassMapper, Habitat, and CastleWindsor.
- Expertise in reusable components, template creation, customizations, personalization, Sitecore search, workflows, and Sitecore Commerce implementation.
- Proficiency with Sitecore Email Experience Manager, xDB, Experience Profile, and configuring production-grade Sitecore CD and CM instances.
- Design, develop, implement, test, and support new features in Sitecore 8.2 as defined by the business project team.
- Collaborate with the product owner to refine and clarify project requirements.
- Work closely with the development team, providing support and assistance where needed.
- Certified senior or mid-level Sitecore developer with 4+ years of experience in supporting and developing Sitecore solutions.
- Strong experience as a senior or mid-level MVC C# developer.
- 4+ years of front-end development experience, including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Familiarity with Sitecore personalization features and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, including SQL injection prevention and encrypted data traffic.
- Position based in Houston but requires the ability to work effectively within a global team.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with direct customer interaction.
- Proficient in process analysis to understand and address customer needs and requirements.
- Ability to negotiate and explain technical limitations, offering workarounds to customers when necessary.
- Collaborative team player with experience working in an agile environment.
- Solid understanding of Sitecore infrastructure, design, and components.
- Experience supporting multiple Sitecore instances.
- Experience with MongoDB.
