- Salesforce Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the internal authority on Salesforce and its associated components, becoming the go-to resource for the organization’s Salesforce strategy.
- Program Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of projects that leverage Salesforce and its add-ons to solve business problems and improve operations.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather requirements, create use cases, and translate them into detailed implementation specifications.
- Governance and Change Management: Establish and manage a governance framework for Salesforce, along with a robust change-management process to oversee updates and system improvements.
- Tool Evaluation: Continuously evaluate emerging Salesforce tools and technologies, implementing relevant advancements to keep the platform optimized.
- User Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert support to internal users, helping to troubleshoot any issues and ensure seamless system performance.
- Data Integrity Management: Identify potential data issues early on and implement best practices to ensure consistent data integrity across the Salesforce platform.
- Customer Relationship Management: Lead consulting engagements, managing relationships with both technical and business stakeholders to deliver value-driven solutions.
- State of Ohio COE Charter Development: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and implement a Center of Excellence (COE) charter for Salesforce governance and standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role delivering Salesforce projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator, along with Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, and Platform App Builder certifications.
- At least 2-4 years’ experience in an architecture role, with 4+ years’ experience in integration technologies.
- Working knowledge of security principles, such as single sign-on and data security practices.
- Strong CRM and ERP background, with an understanding of the business processes these platforms enable.
- Salesforce Developer and Architect certifications are advantageous, but not mandatory.
- Proactive and Solution-Oriented: A proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership, continually looking for ways to improve processes and solutions.
- Relationship Building: Excellent ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to identify trends and offer actionable insights for continuous improvements.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and interactive communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
- Leadership and Mentorship: A strong leader with the ability to motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team of Salesforce professionals, while also being a hands-on contributor when needed.
- Strategic and Tactical Thinking: A strategic thinker capable of developing long-term solutions while also executing tactical plans to achieve goals.
- Problem Solving: Skilled in quickly identifying issues, troubleshooting them, and implementing effective solutions.
- Visualization and Conceptualization: Able to demonstrate ideas visually and in writing, giving stakeholders the confidence to make informed decisions.
- A Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Additional certifications, such as Salesforce Designer or Salesforce Architect certifications.
- Active involvement in the Salesforce community, staying up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and tools within the ecosystem.
