Job Overview:

We are looking for a Salesforce Community Cloud Developer who will be instrumental in designing and implementing dynamic solutions using Salesforce Community Cloud functionality. This role will focus on supporting portals and registration processes for employers and employees, as well as overseeing the management of content in multiple languages through a CMS. The individual will be responsible for configuring, building, and customizing the Salesforce platform to meet both current and evolving business needs, ensuring optimized performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Development:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions on the Salesforce Service Cloud platform.
• Configure and build new functionality using declarative methods (such as workflows, validation rules, and process builders) and programmatic solutions (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning).
• Design scalable solutions that meet performance benchmarks, anticipating potential risks and mitigating them effectively.
   

Customization & Integration:

• Customize Salesforce applications, including creating custom objects, fields, page layouts, and security controls to enhance user experience and system functionality.
• Develop Apex classes, triggers, and controllers to extend the functionality of Salesforce and integrate with external systems using REST/SOAP web services.
• Build Lightning components and applications using the Salesforce Lightning Framework for a modern, responsive user interface.
   

Optimization & Performance:

• Identify and implement strategies to optimize the performance of Salesforce applications.
• Consistently deliver efficient and scalable solutions while maintaining system performance during peak usage.
   

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

• Conduct comprehensive testing (unit, system, integration) to ensure that implementations meet business needs and adhere to quality standards.
• Follow CI/CD best practices by using tools for continuous integration, packaging, and automated testing to ensure rapid, high-quality releases.
• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, ensuring that the latest features are evaluated and, where applicable, implemented to improve business operations.
   

Data Management & Migration:

• Oversee data migration and data cleansing activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during transfers between systems.
• Provide ongoing support for data-related issues and troubleshooting during implementation and post-implementation phases.
   

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and external partners, to identify opportunities for system improvements and develop best practices.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for Salesforce implementation and integration-related issues.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer with a deep understanding of Salesforce configuration, Apex programming, and Lightning components.
• Salesforce Developer certifications (Platform Developer I or II) are mandatory.
• Proficient in Salesforce development tools such as Visual Studio Code, Salesforce DX, and Salesforce APIs.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (SOAP, REST).
• Experience with data modeling, security models, and best practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Solid experience working within Agile delivery frameworks, utilizing tools like Confluence, Jira, and Zephyr for project management, collaboration, and quality assurance.
• Exceptional analytical and debugging skills, with a proven track record of solving complex technical problems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and articulate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working in fast-paced, complex, and distributed environments.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet high expectations in a dynamic workplace.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written communication).
