    Job Title: SAP MM Lead

    Work Location: Columbus IN (Onsite)

     

    Job Overview:

    As an SAP Functional Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to design and configure supply chain execution processes that align with business requirements while incorporating sustainability considerations. This role focuses on enhancing supply chain management processes within SAP ERP MM or S/4 Hana, specifically in the Supply Chain or Procurement domains.

    You will contribute to international projects, particularly in the implementation of SAP systems with a sustainability focus. Your role will involve delivering end-to-end solutions for customers, starting from gathering requirements, through to design, implementation, testing, and ongoing support. Additionally, you will identify change management needs and recommend a structured process to help customers effectively manage and implement these changes.

    In the SAP MM Lead role, you will work closely with the product management team, supporting SAP integration, process design, evaluation, prototyping, configuration, and data modeling for SAP data integration. Your duties will include managing software implementation, operations, testing, maintenance, and enhancement using various development tools. Additionally, you will deploy SAP MM solutions to help businesses achieve their strategic goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Participate in SAP S/4 Hana implementation projects, covering all phases such as gathering business requirements, system design, configuration, test documentation and execution, delivery, and post-go-live support.
    • Lead the implementation of the SAP Material Management module in S/4 Hana projects.
    • Analyze business processes to provide technical solutions within your area, considering integration points and any associated risks.
    • Identify dependencies between other SAP modules or third-party applications to ensure cohesive integration.
    • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including functional and technical specifications.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders and key partners to ensure successful project execution.
    • Mentor and support junior consultants, providing training within your area of expertise.
    • Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP technologies.
       

    Qualifications:

    Required Knowledge:

    • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
    • At least 4 years of in-depth experience with the SAP Material Management module.
    • Strong understanding of business processes within your area of responsibility.
    • Good understanding of integration between SAP modules.
    • Familiarity with integrating third-party tools via EDI, IDOCs, or other interface methods.
    • Proven experience with full lifecycle ECC or S/4 Hana implementations and rollouts in large international projects.
    • Prior experience with master data management and data migration.
    • Awareness of the latest SAP technologies and industry trends.
    • Fluency in written and spoken English.
       

    Required Experience:

    • With 8 years of specialized experience in SAP ISU (Industry-Specific Utilities) focusing on the FICA module, the SAP MM Lead has to work in both regulated and deregulated environments. 
    • SAP MM Lead has successfully served as a module lead in at least two full-cycle SAP ISU implementation projects and one upgrade project, with strong integration knowledge across various SAP modules.
    • As an Onsite Functional Lead, you have extensive experience in conducting business workshops and blueprint sessions, developing functional specifications (FS), designing test scenarios, conducting training, performing system testing, and managing defects within the FICA module.
