Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Functional Lead to oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of our SAP HCM Payroll module. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of payroll processes and SAP HCM functionalities, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation & Configuration: Lead the design, implementation, and configuration of the SAP HCM Payroll module.
• Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate payroll with other SAP HCM modules and external systems.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and IT, to integrate payroll with other SAP modules such as Time Management, Organizational Management, and Financial Accounting.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for SAP HCM Payroll-related issues.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
• Compliance: Ensure payroll processes comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Training: Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to maximize the effective use of the SAP HCM Payroll module.
• Mentoring: Led and mentored junior team members, ensuring they were aligned with project goals and delivery timelines.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+years of experience in SAP HCM with a focus on Payroll configuration and implementation.
• Proven experience leading full-cycle SAP HCM Payroll projects.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, wage types, and schemas.
• Proficiency in integrating SAP Payroll with Time Management and other SAP modules.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues on time.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll is a plus.
• Experience with global payroll processes and legal requirements across multiple regions is advantageous.
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP HCM Payroll certification.
• Experience in managing payroll operations for large, multinational organizations.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori for payroll processing and reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
   

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll implementation and support.
• Proven experience in leading SAP HCM Payroll projects.
   

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and SAP HCM functionalities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
   

Certifications:

• SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP HCM Payroll.
• Additional certifications in SAP HCM modules are a plus.
