- Develop and maintain Oracle database applications using PL/SQL.
- Design and implement database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Optimize performance by tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
- Create and execute test plans to validate the quality and precision of PL/SQL code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any PL/SQL-related issues.
- Optimize the performance of SQL queries within applications.
- Translate user stories into application logic, reports, printed outputs, and integrations with other systems.
- Load and manage data within database tables.
- Monitor and fine-tune server resource usage as needed.
- Write and enhance SQL statements within applications for improved performance.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Provide development and support for Java-based web applications and services.
- Work with other 4GL languages and possess exposure to core Java as a plus.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle PL/SQL.
- Engage in system tuning, scripting, and data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks.
- Support daily operational systems, including handling exception cases manually.
- Participate in coding enhancements and development efforts.
- Serve as a technical project lead when required.
- Research and test new technologies to help shape the technical roadmap.
- Exposure to the financial domain is an added advantage.
- Design, develop, and support Oracle database applications.
- Remain up-to-date with the latest coding languages, database software, and industry standards.
- Knowledge of tools like Quest SQL Navigator or Toad.
- Experience with Linux/Solaris environments and developing batch processes for data migration and transformation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in gathering and interpreting user requirements.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working with PL/SQL.
- Proficiency in Oracle Packages.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with the banking industry is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Oracle relational databases.
- Expertise in SQL development, analytics, and query optimization.
- Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data.
- Oracle, PL/SQL, Avaloq.
- 5+ years of experience in implementing, developing, and supporting Oracle PL/SQL-based enterprise applications.
- Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL programming, including functions, procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with Oracle versions 10g, 11g, 12c, and above.
- Proficient with SQL, including advanced query writing and tuning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Exposure to multiple technologies and a solid understanding of system architecture and design fundamentals.
- Knowledge of testing tools and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management processes.
- Basic knowledge of business domains and quality processes.
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles, and modern development trends.
- MSc, MTech, MBA, BTech, BSc, or Bachelor of Engineering.
