Responsibilities

• API Development: Develop robust APIs using Mulesoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and Anypoint MQ, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Advanced Scripting: Utilize scripting expertise to execute complex transformations using DataWeave 2, ensuring seamless data integration and processing.
• Collaboration & Design: Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design, develop, test, document, and deploy solutions on the CloudHub platform.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies to streamline and automate deployment processes, improving efficiency and reducing errors.
• API Architecture & Testing: Design effective API layers, data models, and specifications. Continuously test and optimize API performance, focusing on response times, reliability, and usage improvements.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot complex production issues related to APIs, identify the root cause of issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Technology Proficiency: Having expertise in Splunk and AMQP is a plus, contributing to enhanced monitoring and messaging capabilities.
   

Requirements

• Mulesoft Expertise: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with the Mulesoft platform, with a minimum of two years of experience in API development.
• Cloud & Integration Experience: Practical experience working on cloud-based solutions and designing integrations using Mulesoft tools.
• Scripting Proficiency: Strong scripting abilities to execute complex data transformations using DataWeave.
• CI/CD and DevOps Knowledge: Solid understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient release cycles.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced production environment.
• Cloud Integration Experience: Your primary focus will be on cloud integration, with MuleSoft as your main tool for enabling seamless data flow and communication between applications.
   

Key Technical and Professional Requirements

• Primary Skills: Expertise in Cloud Integration, specifically with MuleSoft.
• MuleSoft Certification: A valid MuleSoft certification is mandatory to ensure that you have the necessary expertise to handle integration tasks effectively.
• MuleSoft Anypoint Platform Proficiency: You should have demonstrated basic proficiency in the Anypoint Platform, including deployment processes and tools like Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment: Experience in CI/CD pipelines is essential, with knowledge of automating builds, testing, and deployment as part of the software development lifecycle.
• Agile Development Experience: Practical experience in Agile methodologies is crucial, as you will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to ensure successful project delivery.
• Learning Aptitude: A strong aptitude for learning new technologies and frameworks is necessary for adapting to the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
• Salesforce Products: Experience with alternative Salesforce products will give you an edge, particularly when integrating with existing platforms.
   

Additional Responsibilities

• Client Collaboration: You will work closely with clients to identify business challenges and refine, analyze, and structure data to contribute to project deliverables.
• Technology Trends Awareness: Keeping up with the latest technologies and trends is critical in proposing innovative solutions to improve client business processes.
• Logical Thinking and Problem-Solving: You should have strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking to identify root causes and develop solutions for complex issues.
• Process Improvement: Your role includes assessing current business processes and identifying areas for improvement by suggesting appropriate technology solutions to meet client needs.
• Industry Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with one or two industry domains will enhance your ability to understand client requirements and provide industry-specific solutions.
   

Educational Requirements

• MTech, MSc, Master of Computer Application (MCA), Bachelor of Engineer (BE), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Computer Science (BSc), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), or Bachelor of Engineering (BEng).
