    We seek a highly skilled professional with over 4 years of experience implementing or managing Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Manhattan WMS as a client, consultant, systems integrator, or former Manhattan Associates employee. Your expertise will be critical in guiding the project team, collaborating with clients, and aligning WMS solutions to business needs. Experience with process mapping is an added advantage.

    Key responsibilities include developing testing strategies, configuring the WMS solution, creating and executing test scripts, managing test results, training client personnel, and preparing training documentation. The candidate must demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

    Familiarity with Manhattan's complementary products is a plus, as is integration experience with Manhattan’s Integration Framework (MIF) for developing integration strategies. You should be proactive, capable of working independently, and a strategic thinker who enjoys working as part of a team.

    The role of Manhattan WMS

    • We are looking for a seasoned Techno-Functional Consultant with over 10 years of experience in the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) domain. 
    • The ideal candidate should possess extensive hands-on experience with Manhattan WMS and strong programming expertise.
    • Key qualifications include development experience with WMI (Warehouse Management for IBM) and proficiency in AS/400 development. 
    • The role requires solid object-oriented design and analysis skills, along with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
    • Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be self-driven with the capacity to learn quickly. 
    • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is essential. Previous experience in WMS support is highly desirable.
       

    Responsibilities

    • Act as the subject matter expert and advocate for WMS best practices during client implementations.
    • Assist with WMS design, configuration, functional and integration testing, script writing, training, and post-go-live support.
    • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and ensure proper alignment during testing and go-live.
    • Collaborate with clients and vendors to perform quality assurance and report on metrics.
    • Provide post-production support to ensure a smooth transition.
    • Nominal travel is required; remote work is available when not on-site.
    • You will gather and document requirements from business stakeholders, define future-state processes, and develop detailed functional designs based on these requirements.
    • Additionally, you will help configure solution requirements on relevant platforms, troubleshoot any issues, perform root cause analysis, and explore solution options while seeking clarifications where necessary.
    • You will also play a role in contributing to both unit-level and organization-wide initiatives, aiming to deliver high-quality, value-driven solutions for clients.
       

    Additional Skills

    • Manhattan Active WM experience is a strong asset.
    • Technical skills in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Linux scripting, JSON, and Postman are highly desirable.
    • Experience with Manhattan WMS system monitoring, SDN installation, and log analysis is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with data loads, automated waving processes, and data migration during go-live is preferred.

    Educational Qualifications

    • MSc, MCA, BCA, MTech, ME, BTech, or a Bachelor of Engineering.
