- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with mainframe systems.
- Strong knowledge of mainframe operating systems such as z/OS.
- Experience with performance optimization, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- System Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of existing mainframe systems to identify areas for improvement. Develop strategies to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Application Development: Design and develop mainframe applications using industry-standard tools and languages. Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Integration: Integrate mainframe applications with other systems and platforms. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Testing and Deployment: Conduct rigorous testing of mainframe applications to ensure functionality and performance. Deploy applications to production environments and monitor for issues.
- Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for mainframe systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimize impact on operations.
- Mainframe Technologies: Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe technologies.
