    As a Sterling Order Manager, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business processes and technical requirements within the IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS). You’ll be a key player in shaping and managing the functional aspects of Sterling OMS, contributing to the development and optimization of eCommerce solutions from an IT perspective.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Technical Design & Development: Led the technical design, coding, unit testing, and deployment of various components within IBM Sterling OMS, including services, custom APIs, transactions, events, and database extensions.
    • Database Design: Design database architecture for custom components to ensure optimized performance and scalability.
    • Agile Collaboration: Work in an Agile delivery environment, supporting various testing phases and contributing to iterative improvements.
    • Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance: Apply strong design and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality solutions while resolving technical challenges quickly and efficiently.
    • Continuous Learning: Take the initiative to research and learn new concepts and technologies, collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
       

    Required Skills:

    • IBM Sterling Order Manager: Proven experience in developing new features and customizations within IBM Sterling Commerce Order Management System, including hands-on work with Java/J2EE, XML, XSD, XSL, SOAP, REST Web services, and MQ.
    • Spring Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with the Spring Framework and advanced Java/J2EE concepts is a strong plus.
    • Agile Methodology: Experience working within an Agile methodology environment to ensure continuous improvement and fast-paced project delivery.
    • Integration Knowledge: Experience in SFCC/Web commerce integration is advantageous.
    • Order Management Functions: In-depth understanding of critical order processing functions such as catalog management, inventory management, sourcing, scheduling, payments, distributed order management, supply chain collaboration, and reverse logistics.
       

    Experience Required:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience with IBM Sterling Commerce OMS configuration and customization.
    • A track record of successfully developing and implementing robust, scalable eCommerce solutions with a deep understanding of order processing systems.
       

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

    • A minimum of 10-12 years of overall work experience.
    • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Order Management, either as a practitioner or involved in deploying the technology.
    • Proven experience in performance in performance testing of IBM sterling order management, whether in an on-premise or SaaS environment.
    • Strong expertise in performance tuning of IBM Sterling order management.
       

    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

    • Experience working as an OMS user, administrator, or application developer.
    • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and hybrid infrastructure is a valuable asset.
    • A deep passion for innovation, along with a strong interest in keeping up with emerging AI technologies and trends.
