Job Description

We seek a skilled Appian Developer to join our dynamic team in Texas for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining applications using the Appian low-code automation platform. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance software assets that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Key Objectives

• Process Automation: Streamline and automate complex business workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Integration: Using web services, APIs, and other integration tools, ensure seamless integration with existing systems and third-party services.
• User Experience: Enhance the user interface and user experience of the applications to ensure they are intuitive and user-friendly.
• Data Management: Implement robust data management practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the applications to ensure they meet the required performance standards.
   

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Analysis: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Solution Design: Design scalable and efficient Appian solutions that meet business needs.
• Development: Develop, test, and deploy Appian applications, ensuring they are robust and maintainable.
• Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the applications, addressing any issues or bugs that arise.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the development process, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
   

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Appian architecture and best practices.
• Experience with web services, FTP, JMS, and other web technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven experience as an Appian Developer, with expertise in building complex workflows and business applications.
• Strong knowledge of Appian BPM Suite, Appian SAIL, and Process Modeler.
• databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   

Preferred Skills

• Appian Developer Certification.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
